As a child David remembers working in the family Hardware store understanding Construction and Building at a very early age. He recalls with love attending in early ’70’s then known as American Hardware and Lumber. Although he could not have known it at the time, those early days had a profound effect and his building a World Class Green building company.

In late 1980’s, David applied for two patents, developed a main frame computer system and launched the industrial division of the family business called Induserv Supply which grew to over 350 locations. As a extension of the notary manufacturers, David trained contractors in product innovation to world class craftsmanship in an efficient manner. In late 1990’s, a Fortune 500 hotel company, after tired of sup par work in high-end design, requested David to take over the commercial construction in their hotels. David exceeded the expectations and demands of high-end, highly-detailed, residential and commercial projects. David has completed work for people of notariety, as well as W Hotels, Sheraton, DoubleTree, Tribeca Grand, Soho Grand, Hilton, Calvin Klein, Nabisco and many more.

David Palmer notariety grew nationwide. David served on the Quality Council of True Value, and board of TruServ. David sat on the board of directors of Induserv Supply. David sat on the recently DIFM initiative of ACE Hardware. Working side by side with TV personality and America’s handyman Lou Manfredini to bring lower costs and superior workmanship to America homes.

Although David’s career was steadily moving upward, he realized his real love was in the detail and planning involved in producing exceptional homebuilding combined with product innovation. When David’s family became too big for their current home, he had a revelation. “How can I build a custom home in less time at a more efficient cost and have exactly what I want without the hassle from a typical Builder?”

The answer, a custom modular home. David built the first model Modular Home in North Jersey. As a two day build received press coverage, David realized that other people want what David was able to achieve in Modular construction. Transparency, honesty, trustworthiness, craftsmanship, green building, performance and accountability are the cornerstone of Homes 2 Order. “I want everyone to afford their dream home. People usually only build one home in their life, there’s only one chance to do it right. We are all about trust and honesty. My family business was built on that for 80 years. David still owns ACE hardware in River Edge. Homes 2 Order operates out of the River Edge store.
